- Profile Completion: Update your account settings and ensure the correct time zone is set for scheduled content and app updates.
- Invite Team Members: Add users and assign permissions, such as Network Admin or Content Creator for specific display groups.
Step 2: Connect Your Hardware
- Register Enplug Device: Link your Enplug player to your account by entering the unique two-word setup phrase shown on your screen.
- Monitor Device Health: Use monitoring tools to track your device’s status in real-time. This ensures your hardware stays online and your content keeps running without interruption.
- Enable Offline Alerts: Opt-in to Device Offline notifications to be alerted if a screen loses its internet connection.

Step 4: Content & Asset Management
- Create New Display Groups: Every Enplug account starts with a default display group, running the Graphics & Video App. To begin targeting specific locations, you can create and organize additional display groups.
- Tag Your Display Groups: Organize Display Groups by adding descriptive tags. Tags allow you to filter for specific screens and deploy content in bulk across multiple locations (EX: Lobby TV, Ice Cream Stand, Breakroom, etc.).
- Explore the App Market: Browse and customize apps like News, Weather, or Traffic to your library.
- Upload Custom Media (Assets): Import your images and videos for use on your display.
- Review Specs: Ensure uploaded media meets Enplug's recommended file sizes and resolutions.
Step 5: Create & Schedule
- Configure Your Apps: Enter your specific settings for each app (EX: your Instagram handle, local weather zip code, etc.) to display the correct information. Customizing these details ensures you’re delivering the most relevant, up-to-date content to your audience.
- Build a Dynamic Playlist: Organize your apps and custom assets into a Dynamic App Playlist. Review this article for playlist best practices.
- Set Scheduling Rules: Define when specific apps or visuals should be active (EX: Lunch Menu only appearing from 11 AM – 2 PM).
- Dashboard Preview: Using the preview feature, you can see how your live feeds will appear.
Step 6: Go Live
- Deploy to Display: Push finalized configurations and playlists to your active devices.
- On-Site Verification: Confirm your display is cycling through apps correctly and that live data (EX: social feed) is updating.
