YouTube Live

If you'd like to add on-demand YouTube videos to your display instead of a livestream, use the YouTube app. 

Setting up YouTube Live App

1. Log into Enplug.
2. Click the Apps drop-down menu at the top of your dashboard, then select the Youtube Live App. 
3. If you have existing streams in your library, select Add Stream.
4. Copy the URL of the livestream from www.youtube.com.
5. Paste the URL of the livestream into the YouTube app.
6.  Click Save.

Note: Check the box to Show Video Captions if Available if desired. 

Uploading Loading Image

To upload an image to show as the splash screen while a stream loads:

1. Click Upload Video Loading Image.
2. Select an image.
3. Crop or rotate as desired.
   • If any edits are made, click Save.
4. Click Upload.
5. After the image optimizes, click Save Changes.

Livestream Options

• Check Loop livestream to replay the video on a continuous loop.
• Check Limit the Duration of the Stream in your Dynamic App Playlist and enter the number of minutes you'd like the stream to play before switching to other app content. If you don't set an interval, no other apps will play when the livestream is active.

Notes: 

• Enplug will use the same type of stream YouTube sends to a Smart TV so advertisements are minimized.
• The YouTube Live App supports closed captioning if the closed captioning was manually input on the video.
