Performing a Factory Reset
To perform a factory reset on your Brightsign device:
- Remove the SD card from the device.
- Format the SD card.
- Add the updated Enplug file (attached at the bottom of this page) and keep the card removed from the device.
- Disconnect the player from its power source.
- Press and hold both the SVC and Reset buttons.
- While holding both buttons, plug the device back into its power supply.
- When the red Err LED light begins blinking, release the SVC and Reset buttons.
- The Err LED light will stop blinking and the device will perform a factory reset.
Note: Following the factory reset, the player will boot and display the Brightsign logo along with the system information (serial number, MAC address, OS version, etc.).

If your company implements a firewall to restrict access to certain domains within its network, you’ll need to allowlist the following for Enplug and Brightsign devices to work correctly or to use the Enplug configuration dashboard:
