Enplug has created a new Android App to be used with Sony Pro Bravia displays. Below outlines how to install the Enplug Player using the Google Store and provided URL. Centralized and automated rollouts can be done using your MDM or other IT tools.
Requirements
- A supported Sony Pro Bravia (SoC) model: BZ40J, BZ35J, BZ30J, BZ40H, BZ35F, BZ30L, BZ35L, BZ40L, BZ50L, or BZ53L.
- A Google Play Store Account.
Notes:
- All models can be found here: BRAVIA Professional Displays.
- The EZ20L model is not supported.
Instructions
- On each Sony ProBravia device, open this link.

Select Install and follow the Google Play Store prompts to install the App on your device.
- If prompted, grant permissions to prioritize the app overlay.

The Enplug App install will complete and the App is available to launch on the device.
- It'll require to be linked to a Display Group. For more information, reference Link a Device to Existing Apps Content.
Automatically Launch Enplug Player
Optionally, you can configure the Enplug Player App to automatically launch when the Sony Pro Bravia Display is powered on. To do so:
- Enable Pro Mode on your display by following Sony's instructions found here.
- Select Start-up Services, then select the Enplug player from the list of available apps.
- When prompted, install the app, then select OK to reboot.
The Enplug Player will now automatically start when the display is powered on.
Additional Information
If your Sony Bravia device fails to play properly. Try clearing the CACHE as this will resolve most common player issues.
To do so:
- On the remote control, press the HOME button.

Select Settings.
- The next steps depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Apps or Apps → See all apps → Show system apps.
- Under System apps, select the preferred app.
- Select Clear cache.
- Select OK.
- If the issue still occurs, move on to the next step.
- Select Clear data.
- Select OK.
- If displayed, select CLEAR ALL DATA.
- Select OK.
