Daily Reboot is an automated maintenance setting to help with general device performance. This is an individual device setting but can be applied as a default setting for all devices on your account.
Enabling Daily Reboot
To enable Daily Reboot:
- Log into Enplug.
- Use the Display Group drop-down at the top of your dashboard to locate the desired Display Group(s).
- Open the Display Group for the Display you want to apply the setting to.
- Click on the name of the desired Display.
- This will take you to a new screen, navigate to the Maintenance section.
- Check the box for Daily Reboot.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- You can also set a timeframe in which to reboot the device if it loses Internet connection.
- Check the box for Clear Cache for additional device maintenance.
- Daily Reboot will default to 4AM. This can be changed, if desired.
Changing Account Default Settings
If using many displays, you can change your default account settings to enable Daily Reboot for all.
To do so:
- Follow the steps above to navigate to the desired Display Group Control page.
- Click Settings.
- Navigate to Default Settings.
- Click Change Defaults.
- Navigate to the Maintenance section.
- Check the box for Daily Reboot.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- When Daily Reboot is enabled as a default setting, it'll be applied to all devices added to your account.
- Any display that had individual maintenance settings enabled before the default setting was applied will keep their original settings.
