When connecting an Enplug device to the Internet, keep in mind:
- Android OS has a known incompatibility with Classless IP Addressing. This means if the Android device requests an IP address from DHCP and the response contains a classless static route, the device won't be able to receive it.
- If using IP Subnetting in conjunction with DHCP on your network, your device(s) may not be able to receive an IP address from DHCP.
To solve this issue:
- Assign a Static IP address to Enplug Devices.
- Use a Classful IP range for Enplug Devices with DHCP.
