The Advanced Monitoring feature allows you to send commands to your online devices to reboot, clear cache, and/or change local settings.
Note: Contact your Account Manager if you are interested in adding the Advanced Monitoring feature to your account.
Accessing the Commands
- Log into Enplug.
- In the left side menu, click Monitoring.
- Hover over the desired display and click Send Command.
- Click Monitoring Details to view a detailed device page.
- Click Command.
Commands
After opening the command menu, you'll see these options:
- Clear Cache: This will purge all stored content and download it again to the device. If you've logged into any websites using cookies, this command will log you out.
- Reboot: The device will immediately reboot.
- Change Orientation: This will rotate the screen into portrait, portrait flipped, landscape, or landscape flipped mode.
- Reload Schedule: This will verify the device's locally stored content schedule with the authoritative content schedule on the server. During normal operation, the command will automatically run every 60 minutes.
- The DNS 1 and 2 Commands: This sets DNS servers for the device. Don't adjust this setting if you're not familiar with DNS as applying an incorrect setting will require the device to serviced.
