Advanced monitoring provides filtering for the Monitoring page as well as advanced details about device history and logs.
Note: By default, your account has a standard monitoring page enabled. Contact your Account Manager if you are interested in adding this feature to your account.
Accessing the Monitoring Page
- Log into Enplug.
- In the left side menu, click Monitoring.
Results List
The results list, by default, shows all the displays on your account. If you have limited access, you'll only see the displays to which you're assigned permission.
With a long results list, you can use filtering to narrow down your results and add more information columns for reference.
There are a number of categories you can use to filter your results list. Options may vary based on the features enabled for your account.
Category examples include:
- Region
- Name/Keyword
- Display Group
When using the Status category, you'll see one of the following:
- Green - The device is online and working correctly
- Yellow - Device is online in an error state
- Gray - Device is offline
You can also use custom filters (EX: MAC addresses) to view additional display details.
To do so:
- Click Add Filter.
- Select a filter from the drop-down list.
- Optionally, you can enter any desired search parameters.
- If you're wanting to view all results, leave this blank.
- Click Get Results.
This new column will be added to the results list for each filter added.
Note: Add multiple filters to narrow down your results list or view more device data.
Sharing a Results List URL
To share the URL for the Results List:
Click the button, then the Copy button. This will copy the filtered Result List URL to your clipboard to be shared as desired.
Downloading a Results List
You can download a Results List for offline use.
To do so:
- Check the box beside each desired display or Select All.
- Click Export CSV.
- Select the columns you'd like to export.
- Click Export.
Sending Commands
You can send commands to your online devices to reboot, clear cache, take screenshots, and more. Hover over a display to see the command options.
- Use Send Command to send a remote command (clear cache, reboot, etc.) to your device.
- To send bulk commands, select multiple devices using their check box(es) or Select All, then click Send Command.
- Click Get Screenshot to view the content showing on your display in real-time.
- Click Monitoring Details to view a detailed device page.
Note: If your device is showing an offline status, you can't send remote commands. Attempt manually rebooting the device by unplugging the power and plugging it back in. After a few minutes, check the Monitoring page to see if the device is back online.
