Private Label TV

The Private Label TV (PLTV) app displays premium content as well as customized commercials.

Accessing Private Label TV

To access the Content Library:

1. Log into Enplug.
2. Click the Apps drop-down in the top menu.
3. Open the Private Label TV app.

Creating Playlists

1. Follow the steps above to launch the Private Label TV app.
2. In the top right corner, click New Playlist.
   • You can click My Playlists to select a previously created playlist for editing/updating.
3. Enter a Playlist name.
4. Use the Entertainment (pre-loaded channels), Commercials (your custom content), and Configurations tabs to curate the playlist.
   • You can use the search bar in the right corner to locate specific content.
5. Once selections are made, click Save in the top right corner.
6. Adjust the Display Groups and Schedule in the prompted window.
7. When ready to deploy, click Save Changes.

Notes:

• For optimized video playback, no more than two channels should be select.
• For overall performance, it's recommended to keep playback length between three and three-and-a-half hours.
• The PLTV app should be set at 25% (or less) in the Dynamic App Playlist.

Viewing Channel Content

To view channel content:

1. Follow the steps above to launch the Private Label TV app.
2. Create (or open) a playlist.
3. Navigate to the Entertainment tab.
4. Click on the desired channel.

From here, you'll see the following information about the channel:

• Name of the channel
• Number of videos within the channel
• Total duration of each video
• Total duration of the channel (combined runtime of all videos within)

There'll also be controls to browse and preview videos within the channel as well as an Include/Exclude toggle.

Subscribing and Unsubscribing to Channels

Subscribing to a channel will add its videos/content to your playlist. 

To subscribe, toggle a channel on (the toggle will appear green when on). You'll toggle the channel off to unsubscribe (the toggle will appear red when off).

Uploading Commercials

When you upload commercial content, it can be found in the 'Commercials' tab. You'll find this option at the top of the list of commercial as shown in the image below

To upload custom commercials:

1. Follow the steps above to launch the Private Label TV app.
2. Create (or open) a playlist.
3. Navigate to the Commercials tab.
4. Click the channel square labeled My Custom Content.
5. Click Add Media Files.
6. Select the desired video.
7. Once the video finishes processing, click Upload.

This video will now be available for use under My Custom Content.

Note: When uploading video content, you'll be given two options: Standard (recommended for the majority of uploads) and Original Resolution (recommended for instances when a file's original resolution is required).

Configuration

To adjust the configuration of PLTV:

1. Follow the steps above to launch the Private Label TV app.
2. Create (or open) a playlist.
3. Navigate to the Configuration tab.

From here, you'll be given the following information:

• Customer Dwell Time: Total time for the block of content.
• Entertainment Ratio: Percentage of entertainment content to be played.
• Commercial Blocks: Number of content blocks to be played.
• Minimum Video Duration: Can be used to exclude content that doesn't meet a set minimum time requirement.
• Maximum Video Duration: Can be used to exclude content that exceeds a set maximum time limit.
• Total Duration: Total playback time of eligible content.
