Note: To use this feature, you must have the following:
- An Enplug Enterprise account with a DN74 or NVIDIA Shield device.
- An InReality account with either a camera/radar or an external data source (EX: Weather API).
Content triggering provides the ability to change display content on Enplug based on conditions and rules created through InReality.
Connecting InReality to Enplug
Note: Before connecting to Enplug, you’ll need your InReality Account ID. If you don’t have this, please reach out to Support for assistance with locating your InReality Account ID.
To connect your InReality account to Enplug:
- Login to Enplug.
- Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen to launch the Settings menu.
- Click General.
- Enter your InReality Account ID in the designated field.
- Click Save.
Setting Up Content Triggers
To create content triggers (rules) in your display playlist:
- Login to Enplug.
- Select a Display Group from the top-menu dropdown, then navigate to the Dynamic App Playlist section.
- Click the trigger button under the app(s) you’d like to assign rules.
- Click Create Trigger to see an available list of rules.
- Select the rule you’d like to apply, then click Save and Next.
- Select the assets (content) you’d like displayed when rule conditions are met.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- Once saved, you can edit an existing content trigger by clicking Add Assets to the right of the Rule Name.
- You can delete a content trigger by clicking the trash icon to the right of the Rule Name.
- If you’re using the Locking/Unlocking feature and also set a trigger for the same content, the content may play more often than the set percentage. This will depend on how often the trigger rules are met.
