You can manage your display's operation hours using the Enplug Operating Hours manager. The Enplug Device 4K supports HDMI-CEC and RS232 control. The legacy device supports RS232.
Note: This is a Professional and Enterprise package feature. If you don't see this feature on your account, contact your account manager for information on upgrading.
HDMI-CEC
Requirements:
- For Enplug Device 4K only (not available for Legacy devices, Windows, or Web Players).
- The TV must support HDMI-CEC (or equivalent).
RS232
Requirements:
- For Enplug devices only (not available for Windows or Web Players).
- Use an Enplug Certified screen.
- Connect a PL-2303 chipset USB<->RS-232 cable + Null Modem from your Enplug Certified screen to the Enplug device.

Note: If your display has a 3.5mm RS232C port, you'll need one additional cable: DB9 Female to 3.5mm Serial Cable (can be found on Amazon)
Assigning Operating Hours
To assign Operating Hours:
- Log into Enplug.
- Select the Display Groups drop-down and choose the group you would like to assign Operating Hours.
- Open the Operating Hours tab on the left.
- Toggle on Operating Hours for the Display Group and set desired hours.
- Click Save.
Note: RS232 must be disabled. Ensure that your TV has the HDMI-CEC (or equivalent) feature enabled.
