A Display Group is a group of Enplug displays programmed to play the same set of content via apps. You'll use Display Groups to manage content and users.
Adding a Display Group
To add a Display Group:
- Log into Enplug.
- Click the Display Groups drop-down in the top menu.
- Click Add New.
- This drop-down will house all created groups.
- Name the group and, if desired, provide the requested information.
- In the top right corner, click Next.
- Connect your device using the setup phrase.
- In the top right corner, click Add Device (skip this step if you're not adding a device).
- Add content and adjust settings as desired.
Adding a Display Group via CSV File
To add a Display Group via CSV file:
- Log into Enplug.
- Click Display Groups drop-down in the top-menu.
- Click Add New.
- Scroll down to the section labeled Upload Display Groups via CSV (optional).
- Click Download Template.
- After the spreadsheet template has downloaded, open it and populate with the corresponding information.
- After entering all desired information, save the spreadsheet in .csv format.
- Return to the upload window and click Upload CSV File.
- Click Upload Spreadsheet.
- Select your completed spreadsheet.
- Click Open.
Content
The Display Group Content tab includes the primary Display Group data, including the active apps and displays enabled.
- Dynamic App Playlist: View and manage apps for the group.
- Other Apps: Unique apps (such as Zoning or Ad Scheduler) appear in a separate group from the Dynamic App Playlist.
- Displays: These are the devices playing content, assigned to the selected group.
- Content URL Licenses: Sharable Content URLs for live web-based Enplug content.
- Copy This Group: Create a copy of your Display Group for testing or setting up similar groups.
- Delete This Group: Permanently delete your Display Group and assigned displays.
General Information
- Name: Use this to name/rename your Display Group.
- Tags: Assign tags to help filter and manage your Display Groups.
- Address: Edit the physical address for your Display Group.
- Region: Assign your Display Group to a region.
- Description: Add a short description so you can identify the Display Group later.
- Photo: Upload a photo for your Display Group.
- Custom Parameters: Enable and configure Display Group parameters to use with connected API data in the Templates app.
Settings
- Language: Set your display language.
- Orientation: Choose landscape or portrait orientation.
- Time Zone: Set your display time zone.
- Sound: Enable sound for videos.
- Transitions (will be sunsetting in Q3 2026): Choose the transition type between app content.
- Notifications: Choose which notifications should appear in the bottom-right of your display.
- Change Defaults: Follow the link to change your account default settings.
- Restore Defaults: Reset the Display Group to default settings.
User Access
User Access shows which users have access to the selected Display Group. Click on a user's name to access their profile and edit their settings/roles.
You can use the search bar to filter user results.
