Note: The Retail Media Network feature is available for Professional and Enterprise users on Enplug.
Using Retail Media Network (RMN), you can generate ad revenue by displaying audience-targeted materials. Through the RMN Gateway app, you’ll display programmatic ads with scheduled Enplug content.
Accessing the RMN Gateway App
To access the RMN Gateway app:
- Login to Enplug.
- Click the Apps dropdown in the top-menu, then navigate to the All Apps tab.
- In the Search Apps field, enter RMN Gateway.
- Click the RMN Gateway icon.
From here, you’ll see the Setup menu pictured below.
Note: A Spectrio team member will enter your account information into the PID and Organization ID fields.
Activating RMN and Ad Selection
To activate RMN, you’ll first need to complete the RMN Category Selection Form. This is where you’ll select the types of advertisements you’d like displayed on your screens. Selection will depend on desired ad frequencies and target audience.
When completing the form, you’ll select categories (Automotive, Food & Drink, Medical Health, etc.) that will determine the subject(s) of advertisements. Your selection(s) will determine the volume and variety of ads displayed on your screens.
Sub-categories are optional, but can be used to remove specific ads. For example, under Food & Drink, you can select Alcoholic Beverages and ads pertaining to alcohol will not be displayed.
Notes:
- Selecting a wider range of categories will result in a greater diversity of advertisements displayed on your screens.
- For best results, selecting categories that align with your business and the interests of your target audience is suggested.

After an RMN Category Selection Form is submitted, it can take up to seven business days for selections to be reviewed. Once the review is completed, your account will be updated with the PID and Organization ID needed to use RMN.
Note: It can take up to 90 days for all selected advertisements to begin displaying through your Enplug account.
Exporting an RMN Gateway Display Report
To export an RMN Gateway display report:
- Login to Enplug.
- Click the Apps dropdown in the top-menu, then navigate to the All Apps tab.
- In the Search Apps field, enter RMN Gateway.
- Click the RMN Gateway icon.
- From the Setup menu, click Export Info to CSV.
This will generate a CSV file containing a list of all displays where the RMN Gateway App is scheduled.
The CSV file will download as rmn_gateway_report.csv and will list the Display Group ID, County, State, City, ZIP Code, Street Address, and Device ID for any device operating RMN Gateway.
