Enplug Computer Desktop

You can install the Enplug Computer Desktop program on Windows Computers to support Enplug's Desktop Alert app.

To Create Computer Desktop Display Groups: 

1. Log into Enplug.
2. Click the Display Group drop-down in the top menu, then select Add New.
3. Name the Display Group.
4. Select the Computer Desktop option.
5. Check the Enable Alerts option for the Desktop Alerts app.
6. Click Save.
   • You will be redirected to the newly created Display Group where you will download the software.

Note: Your new Display Group can be identified as a Computer Desktop Display Group. The icon in the Display Group drop-down is different.

To Install Enplug Computer Desktop on a Single Computer

1. Download the installer.
2. Verify that .Net 6.0.10 framework is installed.
3. Once dowloaded, launch the installer.
4. Click Next.
5. Select I Agree to license agreement.
6. Enter the Authentication Key when prompted. 
   • This must be copied from the Display Group created using the steps above. Click Copy for the full key, then paste it in the prompted setup window.
7. Click Install.
8. After the program has downloaded and installed, click Next.
9. Select Reboot Now.
   • You must reboot to complete installation.
10. Click Finish.

Now, you can configure the Desktop Alert app on the Enplug Dashboard. This will display alerts on your computer.

To Install Enplug Computer Desktop on Multiple Computers

1. Download the installer.
2. Verify that .Net 6.0.10 framework is installed.
3. To deploy Enplug Computer Desktop Software to multiple computers, include silent install and the license key parameters in this command line:

Enplug-Internal-Comms-Staging-Installer.exe /S /authKey=PasteKeyHere

Note: Be sure to copy the license key from your Display Group and paste it at the end of the command above.

Now, you can configure the Desktop Alert app on the Enplug Dashboard. This will display alerts on your computer.
