Windows Video Wall Configuration with an AMD Graphics Card

Overview

Enplug offers Windows media player solutions for setting up custom video walls. After you have set up your hardware, you're ready to connect the device to the internet and configure your video wall display.

Connect to the Internet

Once your hardware is set up, you're ready to connect your device to the internet. If you are using Ethernet, you already connected that during hardware setup and you are ready to proceed with the Screen Configuration steps. To connect to Wi-Fi, follow these steps: 

  1. Make sure your media player is powered on. You will be automatically logged in as the Enplug user
  2. Minimize the player by pressing "Space"
  3. Open the Wi-Fi menu by clicking the Wi-Fi symbol in the taskbar
  4. Select and connect to your network

 

Screen Configuration

  1. Ensure that your displays are placed in the correct physical order
  2. If the player is running, minimize it by pressing "Space"
  3. Press "Windows Key" + "R" to open the Run dialogue
  4. Type C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\CNext\EyefinityPro.exe into the text field and click "Ok"
  5. If software is not preinstalled on the device, follow link below to download manually  https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-500x-series/radeon-540x
  6. The AMD Eyefinity Pro Configuration Tool will open. Select your layout using the drop down on the top left corner and click the "Next" button mceclip0.png
  7. To help you identify your screens click the "Identify" button mceclip2.png
  8. Drag and drop each numbered display into the appropriate layout boxmceclip1.png
  9. Click “Create AMD Eyefinity Configuration" to complete your setup mceclip3.png
  10. Your screens are now set up in your desired video wall configuration and you can connect to your Enplug account

 

Connect to Enplug

You will see a 2-word setup phrase on the screen. Log into the Enplug dashboard and connect your video wall as a new display.

Additional Information

Be sure to match any custom content to the correct resolution for your screens. For example, if you are using a 1x4 video wall display, the total screen resolution would likely be 7680 x 1080. Custom graphics uploaded to the Corporate Graphics or Graphics & Video app should match that resolution to show full screen. Signs created in the Templates app should also match the screen resolution to show full screen.
