If you receive an OpenGL 2.0 or higher with the FBO extension is required. OpenGL version: 1.1.0 error message while running the Windows player, there are three known root causes.
Reason 1: Your graphics processor is too old to support OpenGL 2.0.
Most modern graphics cards support OpenGL 2.0 which was released in 2004. If your GPU is older than that, it may not support OpenGL 2.0 (which is a minimum requirement to run Enplug).
You can determine what OpenGL version your device supports by looking up the specifications of your GPU on it's manufacturer's website.
If your GPU doesn't support at least OpenGL 2.0, you'll need to run Enplug on a different device or upgrade your graphics card.
Reason 2: Your device doesn't have the latest manufacturer supplied graphics drivers installed.
For Enplug to function properly, your device must have the latest graphics drivers from your GPU manufacturer installed.
You can download these from the driver support page for your PC manufacturer or the manufacturer page for your GPU.
Examples:
It's also recommended to run Windows Update.
Reason 3: You are running Windows 10 on a system with an incompatible graphics driver.
This often occurs with fifth or sixth generation Intel graphics. Due to a compatibility issue with Windows 10 + certain Intel integrated graphics drivers + Java, you'll need to run an older version of Java on your system to resolve the issue.
To do so:
- Install the latest graphics driver available for your system.
- Uninstall all current versions of Java.
- Uninstall any versions of Java on Windows.
- Install Java 8 Update 51 32-bit.
- Disable Java automatic updates, to prevent automatically updating to an incompatible version.
