While setting up your Enplug device(s), you may want to use third-party HDMI hardware to diversify the appearance of your screens. Two of the most popular hardware options are HDMI matrixes or splitters, and paneled video walls, described below:
- A video wall is a special multi-monitor setup that consists of multiple computer monitors, video projectors, or television sets tiled together contiguously or overlapped in order to form one large screen.
- Matrix switchers route multiple video sources to multiple video destinations.
- HDMI splitters are used to divide the signal coming from one HDMI input between two or more HDMI outputs.
Your Enplug device should work with a controller that meets the following specifications:
- HDMI input
- Supports minimum resolutions of 1920x1080/60 or 1280x720/60
Note: We cannot guarantee compatibility with untested 3rd party hardware. Please contact support if you are having any difficulty with matrix setup.
Enplug Tip: Make sure to check that all of the components in your AV setup meet the requirements above; e.g. if you have multiple devices in your configuration, like a matrix connected to a splitter or multiple matrices connected together, check these for compatibility as well.
If you're unsure how to install and configure your video wall setup, we would recommend contacting a systems integrator.
