The process for assigning permission to individuals for access to Advanced Playlists will depend on your Enplug account subscription.
Assigning Permission for Essential Users
On an Enplug Essential account, permissions and feature access are managed directly within each individual user profile. This is how you’ll provide access to Advanced Playlists.
To do so:
- Log into Enplug.
- In the bottom right corner, click the gear icon to bring up the Settings menu.
- Click Users.
- Click Add a person.
- Enter the user’s first and last name as well as their email address.
- Select the desired Playlist Access.
- In the Account section, toggle on Advanced Playlist Editing.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- When creating this user, ensure you assign desired Display Group and Account accesses, as well.
- Access to Advanced Playlists can be toggled off at any time.
Assigning Permission for Professional/Enterprise Users
On the Professional and Enterprise packages, feature permissions are managed through User Roles. You must first create or edit a role that includes Advanced Playlist permissions, and then assign that role to your users.
To do so:
- Log into Enplug.
- In the bottom right corner, click the gear icon to bring up the Settings menu.
- Click User Roles.
- Click Add User Role.
- Enter a Role Name (EX: Advanced Playlist User).
- In the Account section, toggle on Advanced Playlist Editing.
- Click Create.
This User Role, with Advanced Playlist access, will now be selectable under Set Users Settings for any new or existing users.
Notes:
- When creating this User Role, ensure you assign desired Display Group and Account accesses, as well.
- Access to Advanced Playlists can be toggled off at any time.
Accessing Advanced Playlists
After the corresponding User/User Role has been created, users with needed permissions will be able to access Playlists in the Account section of the left side menu.
