If content on your TV is getting cut off like in the picture below, your overscan settings are probably not set to the best option.
What is Overscan?
The easiest way to understand overscan is to think of zooming. If you take a picture and cut off an inch from each edge and zoom in enough to fill the screen, that's overscan.
How to fix my Overscan settings?
Generally most of TVs have an option in the Settings menu or as a button on the remote control called "Picture-Size" which it could also be under other similar names like: "Screen-Size", "ASPECT" or "Zoom".
In order to get the whole picture on TV, above mentioned settings should always be set to options like: "16:9", Full 100% or "Just Scan".
