The Zoning app is a way to allow you to display multiple different pieces of content on your screen at the same time. You can set up Banners, which show on the left or right side of the screen, and Tickers, which show on the bottom or top of your screen.
Note: Content from your other Enplug apps will display in the main zone of your screen once you've set up zoning. The exceptions are the Calendar, Traffic, and Social Media Apps, which will display fullscreen without zoning.
Setting it Up
First, select the Apps drop-down, then the More Apps section. Scroll through to the last apps page to find the Zoning app.
Next, you will see a few layouts for Banners and Tickers that you can use to display content along side the main app that would be currently running.
Here are the ratios that the Banners will use.
A Banner shows content on the left or right side of your screen. You can add different types of content (text, clocks, web pages, and RSS Feeds) within each banner.
If you enable a left or right Banner, the main zone of your screen will be 1440 x 1080 pixels instead of the full resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. You'll need to resize your images to 1440 x 1080 pixels so they display correctly.
Once you select one of the Banner layouts, you will see a circle with a plus (+) symbol in it. Select that symbol and it will show a list of apps that you can display within the banner.
You can add up to 4 Banners to display at one time. Once you have added your first Banner, in order to add your second and third Banners, press the "+" button again and select the Banner of your choosing.
The different types of Banners are:
A Ticker will show scrolling content along the top or bottom of your screen. You can have both a Ticker and Banner active at the same time.
You can only have one Ticker on display at a time.
